Helping Out a Neighbor

It was been a busy week for me. I was getting work done on my current projects. The headboard needs to be final sanded, stained and lacquer. I got the bases done for the chair resto. I am real close to putting some waterlox on my cool little sofa table. I have also been real busy engraving hammers for some great Dads and Grandpas. In the midst of all of this work, I stumbled onto a great new project. A lady posted that she wanted a batman logo cut out of wood for a memorial for her son. It was posted in one of our town’s facebook page. A friend of mine tagged me in the post. The instant I saw it, I knew I had to get this project. I immediately send a message to the lady. After sending a few messages back and forth with her, we nailed down the details. We settled on a batman logo on a cross. I cut out the logo last night. Over the weekend, I will have the cross ready. It was one of those things that really tugged on my heart strings. I would be devastated if I lost one of my sons. I am not the ultimate creator that can bring her son back. I can help a grieving mother create a nice memorial for her son. I feel really honored that I can help out.
Hey all you Dads and Grandpas out there have a great father’s day weekend. Love on your kids and tell them awesome they are.
Thanks to everyone that supports us!
